A clip with a start and an end

Every clipper finds good moments now. What you still end up fixing by hand is the edges: a clip that opens a beat into the thought, or stops before the point lands.

Skapo aims each clip at the line that hooks and nudges the end toward where that sentence finishes. Moments that don't make sense on their own get dropped. You get clips that feel like a real editor made them, automatically.

Privacy & GDPR

Many tools don't publish a fixed window for how long they keep your uploads and clips.

Skapo checks your file in your browser before it uploads, then sends it straight to private, encrypted storage, and the privacy policy names every company that processes it. Clips stay available on the clock your plan sets, 7 days free, 30 days on Freelancer Pro, 90 days on White Label, or 30, 90 or 365 days per client workspace, and then they are taken offline. Delete your account and everything is erased.

The details

• Multi-Speaker Split-Screen

Does Skapo keep every speaker in frame?

While up to 4 speakers share the shot, Skapo gives each one their own slice of the vertical frame, with no templates and no setup. When the edit cuts to one person, the frame follows that person, so you never get an empty seat.

• File Check Before Upload

Does Skapo check my file before it uploads?

Yes. Skapo checks your file right in your browser before it uploads, so a bad file gets caught early instead of after a long upload.

• Where Your Video Goes

Where does my video go when I upload it?

Your video uploads straight from your browser to private, encrypted storage, and every company that processes it after that is named in our privacy policy.

• Data Retention & Privacy

How long does Skapo keep my clips?

Skapo keeps your clips available on a published window: 7 days on the free plan, 30 days on Freelancer Pro, 90 days on White Label, and 30, 90 or 365 days per client workspace. After that they are taken offline, deleting your account erases everything you uploaded and everything Skapo made, and every company that touches your footage is named in our privacy policy. That is an easy answer for corporate clients with data policies, and you can give one of them a shorter window than the rest.

• How Cuts Are Chosen

How does Skapo choose which moments become clips?

Skapo picks each moment by what is said across the whole conversation, ranks what it finds and drops the moments that don't stand on their own. Every clip then shows where it sits in the episode, the line it opens on, why it holds attention and its rank, on every plan.

• Where a Clip Starts and Ends

Does Skapo cut clips mid-sentence?

It tries not to, and it shows you where every cut sits. Skapo aims each clip at one line to open on and one to close on, and starts it on a whole word. Open "How this clip was built" on any clip and you see the opening line and where the clip sits in the episode. If an end runs long, trim it in the clip editor and only that clip re-renders. To move an edge outward, export the clip as a Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve timeline against your original video (paid plans, or after the EUR 8.99 clean-export unlock).

Ready for clips that actually look edited?

Up to four speakers framed, captions that never get covered, clips aimed at one whole point, and your shorts usually ready in about 10 minutes. Private by default, kept on the clock your plan sets.
